10.3. Planned/Release DatesTo aid in planning and tracking, release records provide fields for recording the planned release date, and the actual release date. The planned release date should be set to the date the release is expected to occur. A release remains "green" (or preparing), until a planned date is specified. Once the planned release date is saved, the release will turn "black" (or open). The actual release date should be set after the release has occurred. Once the actual release date is saved, the release becomes "red" (or complete). |
