7.6.1. User

Issues may be left unassigned, or can be assigned to users in the system. Aside from obviously answering the question of who is responsible for a task, by virtue of being assigned to a user, certain tracking and reporting features can be utilized. For example, the number of estimated hours assigned to a user can be tracked, as well as completed tasks. The tracked statistics can be utilized in future planning and can lead to more accurate development schedules.
